Hero (noun) - A person noted for feats of courage or nobility of purpose, especially one who has risked or sacrificed his or her life.
My number one hero is my husband. I could not do the things he does and it amazes me that he can. He's been on three deployments, not once has he complained about having to go. He's always reminding me that this is his job. I could never even begin to imagine having to leave our girls for 15 months, 18 months or a year at a time. He's lived in conditions that just blow my mind. Imagine burning your own waste or getting one cold shower a week. And he has never complained. I'm amazed and proud of his courage and strength. On top of all that, like saving the world isn't enough, he makes sure the girls and I know we are loved. I love him for his strength and courage, he is definitely my Hero.
