one minute your up/the next down...

You know those days where you are feeling high, life is good and all is well in the world. Well that was how mine started. Everything was in place safe and sound. Christopher was just promoted, has a job he loves and is actually stateside still. Haillie and Abby are finishing up with school this week both passed and are excited for summer. I'm having a somewhat easy semester in school and am about to graduate on June 20 so I'm excited for summer too. Did I mention the sun is shining and the birds are singing. Wonderful kind of day. Then I decide to check out my school balance... can you feel the storm clouds rolling in? The screen is saying I owe $4200- in disbelief I call the school. I'm sure this is a mistake because I filed all my financial aid on time. Nope not a mistake and it gets better she proceeds to tell me I have till June 15th to pay it. I started question her because when I signed up I asked the representative a lot of question regarding money. At the time I wasn't working, Christopher was deployed and the recession was in the news. The money is what was holding me back from going to school. Repeatedly this man told me the same story, I would have three payments for so much and the rest would be taken care of by my student loan. All lies, even the grand total he gave me was wrong. To which the school's finanical representative told me the man that signed me up had no way of knowing any of that information. Lovely. I'm off to quickly start loan shopping and see if I can transfer my credits. Bet that was a lie too!
