Home-Style Ribs

*ick* My grandmother use to make melt in your mouth boneless spareribs. Of course no one can find or is sure of her recipe. This isn't it at all. The sauce didn't thicken and was a soupy mess. After the six hours in the crockpot I ended up putting them on a baking sheet, brushing them with store bought sauce and broiling them. They were bad after that but not what I was looking for.
Ingredients
4-6 pounds boneless pork spareribs
1 cup chili sauce
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Directions
Sprinkle ribs liberally with salt and pepper. Place ribs in slow cooker. Combine 1/2 cup water, chili sauce, brown sugar, vinegar and Worcestershire and spoon over ribs. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.

At least you attempted your own BBQ sauce. If I had tried this, it would've been with a bottled sauce in the crockpot. I have never attempted the homemade stuff!
