dazed & confused…

Bear with me as I am having trouble concentrating, some sentences may not make sense. Prior to the holidays I started going to a new doctor for my thyroid and autoimmune issues. I asked the right questions such as is he willing to keep my TSH suppressed and along with my TSH blood work will he also test my FT4 and FT3. He said yes to it all and I thought we were on the same page for my treatment. If you are new to my blog I'm dealing with Hashimoto's Disease, Vitilago, Celiac Disease and Lupus was just added to the list. Oh yeah! fun times here. Well it turns out the doctor doesn't agree with suppressing my TSH and has lowered my meds not once but twice and plans on lowering them again next month. Yikes!
I was still holding my own until Haillie's trip to London. Stress really makes my symptoms flare up and worsen. Plus I had myself over stressed and worried about a graphic design job I applied for. I'm not sure how I could hold down a full time job in this condition. Not to worry though I did horrible on the phone interview. I can tolerate the joint pain and work through the exhaustion. My downfall is my slow brain and lack on concentration, I feel like I have ADD. Talking to me is like talking to someone with Alzheimer's. I use to be a smart women and this lack of a brain is frustrating.

Geez, Michelle, I had no idea. I'm sorry you're struggling with this and with finding relief. I hope things get better soon.

Michelle... that's rough. I'm so sorry to hear about what you are going through. I have severely low thyroid which doctors have not had an easy time regulating, I have a gluten allergy (not celiac... it's an allergy) along with other allergies and I understand. It's a really rough road. Blessings to you with all you've got going on. And a prayer for healing.

I am so sorry Michelle. How unbelievably frustrating!

I have fibromyalgia; at least that is what they diagnosed me with when all of the blood work came back negative for the 500 things they tested me for. I can relate to how infuriating it is when you are exhausted, your body hurts and your mind is so foggy you can't remember why you left the house (to go to the grocery store). You have so much internal motivation, desire and ambition, but you just can't get your vision out and into the world.

I really hope that your doctor's find a good treatment plan for you, and soon!
