V-day Planning
Valentine's Day isn't a huge grown-up holiday in our house. Christopher brings me flowers out of the blue for no reason other than just because. I find cards under my pillow without a holiday insight. I love that about him. It might also have to do with the fact that out of 15 years we have only really been in the same state or country a few times. It's just not a big holiday in my book for us. We do however go a tad overboard with the kiddos. He will go out and buy them cards, a stuffed animal & some chocolates. Of course my gifts are homemade and edible. I've already made my cards and I think I've planned all the goodies. I'm going to bake a loaf of bread to make heart shaped French toast w/bacon for breakfast. For Christopher I plan on baking a heart shaped apple pie w/vanilla ice cream on the side. That's his favorite. Haillie loves cheesecake so the plan is to insert foil into my heart shaped cake pan and hopefully I'll be able to pull the cheesecake out. And for Abby a mini four tier heart shaped chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting. Yeah I'm giving my family tummy aches of love this year.

I'm not that into V-day. I don't know why. I think I always had bad ones as a kid. :) Not with my parents . . . with school friends. :)
One word "overachiever" LOL I'm just kidding. I can't believe how much you do for the kids. You are super mom!
