happy Mother’s day…

Happy Mother's Day to ALL you amazing moms!

I'm impatiently waiting!
Yesterday I baked a loaf of cinnamon bread so that this morning we could make French toast for breakfast. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. To hell with my gluten-free diet today. Originally I was going to make breakfast for my wonderful husband and beautiful children. Without them I wouldn't be a mom and I'm thankful to have this gig. Christopher decided the girls and him would make the French toast for us. *lol* This shall be interesting, not him cooking but him motivating Abby to pitch in. God love her but I think she will forever be my lazy daisy.

The French toast was yummy! I forgot how much I love maple syrup. *mmmm* Syrupy goodness. After breakfast we were suppose to go fishing. Check out the pretty pink fishing rod Christopher surprised me with. Too cool.

BUT it is so cold and windy here you would think it’s March not May. So we spent the day home, all together and in our jammies. LOVED it! Christopher’s been working so much lately, including Saturdays with commissioning ceremonies for his graduating cadets, it was awesome just having him all to myself. I wish every Sunday was Mother’s Day.
