Smokey Bones honey pecan butter…

You are going to want to kiss me! That is how good this butter is. While the girls and I were visiting Christopher in North Carolina, prior to his last deploy, we ate at Smokey Bones. Haillie and I had their Mo'Better Bread as an appetizer. *omg* We couldn't get enough of the honey pecan butter that came with the sweet, skillet-baked cornbread. We've talked about making and never got around to it. Well this morning she mentioned it again and I whipped a batch up. Absolutely delish!!!
Ingredients
1 pound unsalted butter, softened
1/4 cup clover honey
1/2 cup pecans, halved
Directions
Preheat oven to 350⁰F. Place pecan halves on a cooking tray and cook this until toasted, approximately five to eight minutes. Remove from oven and let cool to about room temperature.
Chop cooled pecans. Place pecans and butter in a mixer and mix for three to five minutes using a spatula to scrape the sides of the bowl, as needed. Blend on low speed adding honey and continue until all ingredients are well mixed.
Place in serving dish or bowl and put in the fridge until ready for use. Serve with warm cornbread and enjoy!
