Angel Cream Biscuits

Have you ever made the Bisquick biscuits from the recipe on the box? I usually only bake them when making sausage and gravy for breakfast. Anyhow, these are those just ten times better. They were light, fluffy and perfect from dipping into the beef stew.
Recipe found in Gooseberry Patch Cozy Country Christmas.
Ingredients
2-1/4 tsp active dry yeast
1/4 cup warm water
1 tbsp sugar
2 cups biscuit baking mix
1/4 cup half and half
Directions
In a medium bowl, dissovle years in warm water, about 110 to 115 ⁰F. Stir in sugar, then remaining ingredients; stir until dough forms. Turn onto surface generously dusted with biscuit baking mix; gently roll to coat. Shampe into ball and knead 10 times; rol 1/2-inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter dipped in biscuit baking mix; place on ungreased baking sheet. Cover and let stand in a warm place for about 30 minutes, until soft and puffy. Bake at 425 ⁰F for 6 to 8 minutes until golden. Serve warm. Makes 10 to 12.

Oh I do love me a biscuit! I tried the bisquick ones and was very disappointed. My favorite easy ones are the frozen pilsbury biscuits.
These do look easy.. maybe I'll actually give them a try! Pilsbury is so easy though ..LOL
