Just Perfect Sloppy Joes

Love slow cookers on work days. I assembled everything the night before and put it in the fridge. In the morning all I had to do was put it in the slow cooker, turn it on low and head out the door. I came home from work to a hot and ready meal. Perfect. This recipe is also great to freeze the leftovers for a quick meal later in the month.

3 lbs ground beef, browned and drained
1 onion, finely chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
28 oz can tomato sauce
3/4 cup catsup
3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
8 sandwich buns, split
Combine all ingredients except buns in a slow cooker. cover and cook on low setting for 8 to 10 hours, or on high setting for 3 to 4 hours. Serve in sandwich buns. Serves 8.
