Pizza Snack Cups

Not a winner with the family. I was looking for a day off of cooking after a long day of baking. I thought these would be good Sunday football game food. Wrong. We didn't care for the flavor of the biscuits with the pizza sauce and they weren't as filling as I wanted them to be. That's what I get for slacking off.
Recipe found in 100 Best Appetizer Recipes.
Ingredients
1 can (12 oz) refrigerated biscuits, 10 biscuits
1/2 lb ground beef
1 jar (14 oz) pizza sauce
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 ⁰F. In muffin pan, evenly press each biscuit in bottom and up side of cups; chill until ready to fill. In 10-inch skillet, brown ground beef over medium-high heat; drain. Stir in pizza sauce and heat through. Evenly spoon beef mixture into prepared muffin cups. Bake 15 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and biscuits are golden. Let stand 5 minutes. Gently remove pizza cups from muffin pan and serve.

When I saw the title of this post I got excited! I love little bite sized snack foods, especially while watching a football game.
I bet if you used refrigerated pizza dough and pepperoni or ham instead of the beef, these would be awesome. Don't give up on this one, keep playing!
I think I'd like to play with this one too!
