Oven Cheesy Bread

Holy Moly!
This cheesy bread is worth every bad carb and gluten filled bite. Christopher and I both ate too much of it. I did make one little opps and instead of slicing the bread into individual slices I cut it in half. That's what happens when you aren't paying attention to the recipe and listening to kiddos talk.
Recipe from FaceBook Gooseberry Patch.

Ingredients
1 loaf Italian bread, sliced 1 to 1-1/2 inch thick
1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp dried parsley
2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1-1/2 cup shredded Cheddar or Mexican-blend cheese
Directions
Lay out bread slices on a greased or parchment paper-lined baking sheet. In a bowl, mash butter with salt and spices until combined into a smooth paste. Spread each slice of bread with one tablespoon butter mixture; top with 3 tablespoons cheese. Bake at 350 ⁰F for 5 to 7 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
