French Breakfast Puffs

Good morning to you!
It's an exciting day today for everyone goes back to work and school giving me the house back. Routine here I come. On the downside that also means treadmill here I come. Maybe this year will be different and I will love the treadmill. Doubtful but a girl can dream. Of course after all that holiday food and baking I decided to start the week off with yet another baked good. I just wanted to send them off with warm sweet fluffy goodness inside. These are amazing and the recipe only makes a dozen so you won't overeat breaking your New Year's resolution.
Recipe from Gooseberry Patch Homestyle Family Favorites
Ingredients
1/3 cup shortening
1 cup sugar, divided
1 egg, beaten
1-1/2 cups all purpose flour
1-1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp cinnamon
6 tbsp butter, melted
Directions
Blend together shortening, 1/2 cup sugar and egg in a large bowl; set aside. In another large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Add to shortening mixture alternately with milk; stir until moistened. Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake at 350 ⁰F for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden. Combine cinnamon and remaining sugar. Roll hot muffins in melted butter and then in cinnamon-sugar mixture. Makes one dozen.

I forgot to tell you, I can't get the large button you posted. It's why I have the small one on my blog. Am I doing something wrong? It's not "clickable"
